Very cool! How did you set that up?

Ridiculously basic. No extra lights, just the overhead fluorescent lights. No flash I don't think (EXIF data should be there). Shot with my 30D at 800iso, 50 1.8 and in Raw. I don't even remember the camera settings but probably an aperture of 2.8 or 3.2 since thats where the lens is the sharpest.

 I'm not a portrait photographer by any stretch of the imagination, much prefer inanimate objects (or dogs) as my subjects. I didn't know it was going to get published - he just wanted a good photo for press releases (since he works closely with HP as well) and I obliged.
