Looking forward to seeing your work and hearing about your successful shoot.   This sounds like about the time to get an answer to the question you posed about running a successful photography business.    I'll see if I can pry some information out of my bro, Ross!  (who is doing pretty well in this department)

shot only two weddings. both paid. the first in 1995 and the last in 2003. both in 35mm. shot them for "friends of friends" but never was really motivated to do more of them. it's that whole "better get the shot or else" thing ;)

I was just reading through this thread again and saw what I paid at my own wedding for a photographer - I forgot!  Gah!  I didn't think it was that much - I shouldn't have posted it where I would stumble upon it again.
I can never have too many toys!
