OK, so Andrew has pronounced himself on his selection for the new challenge theme:

So the Nov/Dec theme will be pictures taken between sun down and sun up, with no on-camera flash and a minimum exposure time of 15 seconds.

Kind of hard to tack on a one or two word title on this theme, so I will call it "Long-Exposure After-Dark".

I want to try something different this time to see if we can get participation levels back up. The challenge gallery is open immediately and you are allowed to delete and repost until the challenge closes. Perhaps seeing other pictures will inspire people for their own submissions. Remember, you can submit up to 5 entries. I will however keep voting off until the gallery closes.

Yeah for some reason when I created the album it filled it with that junk, not sure why. I just uploaded a test picture and the album works fine, I'll delete the junk.

Update: Actually those files are not even in the album, it appears to be a placeholder in the display routine. Looking at the database, there is only one file in that album, the test one I loaded.

I get no gallery, just an error...

"An Error Has Occurred!

Hmm, looks like a permission problem, but everything looks like it is set properly. Can you access the other albums?

Yep, the other galleries work fine...

Weird. I thinkered with the settings a bit, does it work now?

I can enter the gallery fine (could yesterday too).  I see a bunch of their placeholder tags.

Yea, I can go to the gallery now, but get the same thing as darkvibe...

Yes the gallery just puts some place-holders in there. They are "virtual", in other words, they disappear as people upload actual pictures.

Am I missing something with the new galleries? How do I upload my entry?

You should see to links near the top:

"Add a new item" and

"Mass Upload"
