Nothing here. Fireworks are illegal in NY. Normally that doesn't bother me, but I've made no trips to PA recently so I have nothing to ignite.

I drove up through PA not too long ago Wink

I'll probably spend tonight on the couch with a movie.  Crowds and traffic just don't sound appealing to me today.

X2.  Many of the urban areas (Seattle) do not allow fireworks, however, I rather dislike hanging around large urban areas full of thousands of people.

Thanks to the indian reservations, we have access to some rather explosive goods.   You can buy the weeny chinese stuff at stands in the suburbs, but not the big chinese fireworks that give you a little chill each time you light the fuse.

Fireworks illegal in NY eh?   Sounds like the perfect place to light em up!

Making a trip to Saratoga to a book store and to pick up my truck. Our fun  was last night - VIP passes to a Doobie Brothers/Chicago concert  cheers

It's good to have great friends  Grin

It's the people's republic of new york.  Pretty much anything that's fun is illegal here.  It's almost as bad as California and Mass. isn't far behind us.

I am sure that things will get even "better" after the presidential election.   Roll Eyes

NY's Governor makes our's look like a 1st grader, still learning to ropes on how to be a major dick.

Mayor Bloomberg, Police Commissioner Kelly, Fire Commissioner Scoppetta and Health Commissioner Frieden Warn New Yorkers of Dangers of Illegal Fireworks
Mayor Bloomberg, Police Commissioner Kelly, Fire Commissioner Scoppetta and Health Commissioner Frieden today warned New Yorkers of the consequences of transporting, buying, selling or using illegal fireworks. In New York City, all consumer fireworks are illegal and individuals caught buying, selling or using fireworks will be arrested. Those caught transporting fireworks into the City will have their vehicles seized by the Police Department (NYPD).

Cracking down on the "real" criminals, along with legal and law abiding gun owners.  What a guy.

VT. State troopers are sitting on highways that run into and out of NH - where its legal to buy fireworks - and ticketing and confiscating fireworks as they enter VT. THey've been doing it for a week now.

... but NY is bad? My neighbor is a state investigator and has set of lots of fireworks already this year with no police intervention. You folks that live near to cities need to take a trip away from the rat holes and closer to where bigfoot and wild trout live.

BTW, post 800... typically grumpy.

Fireworks? I think you guys should light up a little gasoline in honor of your Oil-Industry sponsored government.

at about 9:30 or 10pm I had both windows open and listened to what had to have been 50 different people lighting off fireworks.  lol.  good thing there's a law against them.

Nothing better than living in Mississippi and out in the county.  We set off about $100 worth at our family gathering...here's a little taste
