Awesome finish. Big wreck with 4 to go then 1 lap race after the restart and a .081 second difference at the finish in the DP class.

Very dramatic. It's too bad this isn't America's favorite racing sport.

NASCAR RRRRRUUUULLLLLEEEEZZZZZ (for a reason beyond me). What do you mean? Can't you see that always turning left without shifting or braking is the most exciting form of racing on the planet?

NASCAR RRRRRUUUULLLLLEEEEZZZZZ (for a reason beyond me). Agreed, one could get the NASCAR experience by sitting in a lawn chair next to the shoulder of I-5, getting drunk, and yelling at passing cars.

When they race at the glen they race the short course. They don't go around the boot which is the most exciting part of the course to watch. I think IRL does the same thing.

Just to add some Fuel to the Fire (tm) Nascar has road tracks Infineon Raceway Watkins Glen Yes they do, 2 out of what, 36? And they have the lowest spectator turn outs of all races, most drivers hate them, and it's always the same 2 or 3 drivers who win. I have a feelling that NASCAR and their sponsors would really rather just get rid of those races.

I watched some of the Indy race at the glen today. They do the long course after all.
